DONGYANG XINGHONG NEW MATERIAL CO., LIMITED primarily produces textiles dyed and printed with various natural plant dyes. Using a process that combines natural plant dyes with natural auxiliaries, the company dyes common materials such as cotton, silk, and linen. Their products include printing, yarn-dyeing, and dyeing, ensuring that every color is derived from nature, non-toxic, and harmless. These textiles are widely used in infant clothing and high-end textile products.
Dongyang Xinghong operates its own independent plant dyeing and printing factory and has successfully tackled，the challenge of poor colorfastness in dyeing. Their performance significantly exceeds that of traditional plant-dyed textiles, even reaching the mid-to-high level of synthetic chemical dyes. The textiles produced by the company are completely free from formaldehyde, fluorescent agents, aromatic amines, and other carcinogens. They also feature additional functions such as antibacterial properties, UV resistance, and radiation protection, making them highly suitable for close contact wear. 03. Natural Plant Dyes
Natural plant dyes are non-toxic and harmless, making them highly friendly to human health. Fabrics dyed with plant-based dyes have natural colors that last, with insect-repellent and antibacterial properties—features not found in chemical dyes. This makes them especially suitable for children’s clothing, underwear, socks, and bedding. Dongyang Xinghong primarily uses extracts from indigo, purple root, gardenia, and bamboo charcoal as eco-friendly dyeing agents. These dyes not only provide natural color but also ensure high health safety and ecological friendliness.
Isatis Tinctoria
Isatis tinctoria is a medicinal herb. Indigo pigment is present in the leaves of Isatis tinctoria, and it can be dissolved in water to produce indigo paste through oxidation-reduction reactions. It has antimicrobial matters against pathogenic microorganisms such as Bacillus anthracis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, and Staphylococcus albus.
Lithospermum erythrorhizon Sieb. et Zucc.
Alkannin, the main pigment of Lithospermum erythrorhizon, is mainly found in the roots. It has low water solubility and requires enzyme dyeing auxiliary such as toon ash. Alkannin has significant anti-acne and anti-inflammatory effects, and it has inhibitory effects on Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Bacillus subtilis.
Gardenia jasminoides Ellis
Gardenia jasminoides is the fruit of the Rubiaceous plant. It contains crocin, a saffron pigment glycoside, which can be used as a yellow dye and was the most widely used yellow dye before the Qin and Han dynasties. The fruit of gardenia is a traditional Chinese medicine and has various effects such as protecting the liver, promoting bile secretion, lowering blood pressure, calming the mind, stopping bleeding, and reducing swelling.
Bamboo charcoal
Bamboo charcoal is made from high-mountain bamboo that is at least three years old and is processed at temperatures of nearly a thousand degrees. It has the ability to remove odors, inhibit bacteria and repel insects. When in contact with the human body, it can absorb sweat, promote blood circulation and metabolism, and relieve fatigue.
